Scott Elliott, DVM
Dr. Elliott graduated from Marion County High School and then attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Following graduation at UTC, Dr. Elliott continued his education at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006. Dr. Elliott also proudly served his country and is a veteran of the United States Army.
Before opening Mud Creek Veterinary Services in 2008, Dr. Elliott worked for two and a half years in Northeast, Alabama. Mud Creek Veterinary Services began as a large animal ambulatory service which then expanded to include an office for a small animal practice in 2012. Dr. Elliott’s special interest in veterinary medicine is Bovine herd health. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Society of Theriogenology.
Dr. Elliott is married to Yulanda. His children include Courtney and her husband, Judd, Nicholas and his wife, Heather, Kylie Batey, Lyndi, Logan, Erica Frasier, and Kacie Frasier. He also has two grandchildren, Kason, and Kynlie Elliott. Dr. Elliott’s pet family includes a cat named Sister. When he is not working, Dr. Elliott enjoys fishing and golfing. He is a member of Hodge Baptist Church.
